L avevo vista in diretta quando ero ancora un ragazzo al I anno di superiori. Mi ricordo una partita spettacolo ben giocata da entrambe....grande Rensembrink....quanta nostalgia

It was a great match. I can still remember watching it. I was 15 at the time. We had a B/W TV.

About Frank Lampard: on the face of it, it's an unlucky ball from an awkward defender. It is striking, but for years no case is made of it. Until, in 2001, the newspaper De Morgen came out with the testimony of one Norbert Hallemeersch, a West Fleming who worked in the port of Zeebrugge for the international transport company Mat. He suddenly recalls that about a month after that final "a container full of beer had to be shipped from Anderlecht chairman Constant Vanden Stock's Belle Vue brewery in Brussels to London". The consignee of those presumably 60, 000 bottles of Kriek and Gueuze? Frank Lampard, besides swaggering defender also pub landlord in the English capital.
