well I havent edited a proper video since like... may and my sister asked me to edit an avatar video (even tho I promised myself I wouldnt edit anything avatar/korra related in a while) to this song and then BAM this was born
so yeah it's dedicated to her :)

this edit is so rough and rushed at some parts tho because I really just wanted to finish the video and then vegas crashed and there's glitches and idec anymore lmao

This is gold. I especially love the first refrain, it fits so well with the characters. First there’s toph, the blind helpless perfect child that her parents want her to be. But she’s not, she’s a beast and her parents don’t approve but that’s who she it. And then zuko. He rly doesn’t love this world. But he does try to despite being given so many reasons not to.

Lyric match at 0:32 was utter perfection. I smiled despite the context hahah! XD Also Zuko at the start of the second verse gave me all the feels. <3 And Azula on "grace is just weakness..." was awesome. Perf, perf. BUT LIKE. HOW DARE YOU AT 2:24 THAT'S NOT OKAY. These types of videos usually don't hit me on an emotional level but this one really did. Of course my initial thought was how this fits perfectly with Zuko's arc but it fits Iroh's life before and after Lu Ten. It fits Katara's change of heart when it comes to the fire nation, Zuko, and her mother's death. Really great song choice and edits

Watching this growing up is some of my best childhood memories, i wouldnt give this show up for any other. Just watched it for the first time in almost 10 years, and it was an emotional rollercoaster as the memories came flooding back of the show, and of the happy lifestyle i had back then. This show is an absolute treasure. I even try to live by some of uncle Irohs philosophies lol. Glad to be able to share this amazing show with so many other people who feel the same way.
