Should I Become a Real Estate Agent in 2024?

Hey friends! I get a lot of inspiration for videos just based on questions I am frequently asked. A common question I get asked is 'Should I Become a Real Estate Agent?' And the short answer is... MAYBE!

There are certain aspects to being an agent that aren't for everyone, and becoming an agent is way more than just getting a job... I will expand on this more in the video! Thanks for watching!

This channel is focused on helping new and established real estate agents in 2024 and going forward, cut through all the noise and stand out above the pack. We believe in doing things differently, out-smarting, out-branding and outworking the average agent and team.

As an already business owner and not being afraid of social media, I am ready to go after the license this winter. I am very competitive and love sales and people. So I am excited to ad this to my list of challenges ❤

love it its true I'm a newly licensed agent working a full time job plus this started Jan 24th 2024, on listing number 2 looking for 3 buyers and closed with another buyer in March. it's ALOT of time and effort and I'm burnt out I hope i can do just real estate eventually.

Thank you for making this. I’m considering becoming an agent in possibly the worst time to become one (wish I had considered this journey in 2020 😅) …I’ve attempted wholesaling real estate, I didn’t find success with that. I think my personality type would be great being an agent. I am a little nervous where the market is headed and with the changes in the law coming up. I know a lot of agents are leaving the industry, so I’m hoping that maybe that’ll give me more of an advantage. However, I know home sales are down but I live in East Tennessee which has been particularly hot the last couple of years. Thank you for making this video—it’s given me a little bit of reassurance.

I just got my real estate license this week and I’m having self doubt because I have drive in me to become better and grind but at the same time I’m not a really extrovert person but I do like talking to people and I speak Spanish and I’m working on becoming more fluent in English and I always heard about how hard is to become a successful real estate agent

What is a good site/program to learn more about the legality in real estate?

I'm thinking about becoming a realtor but I am honestly experiencing some self doubt. What about people saying realtors will be replaced with technology. It seems like most subreddits on Reddit speak very poorly about the future of realtors. I am willing to work hard and want to be my own boss and being a realtor sounds like a good match for me but I hear so many conflicting points on this career.

What do you think about joining a team as a new guy to sort of learn the ropes?

How will the recent settlement of 6% commission removal affect realtors?

So my contract with my current company ends in about 11 months. I WANT to leave the industry I’m in right now, and get into real estate full time. I have the drive to do it and I used to be a server so the sales part it easy, but so many people around me keep saying don’t do it. Any advice would help

Can you write off the licensing off as a business expense? I own a lawn care company and am looking at real estate to supplement income. I'm not wanting to short for the stars per se but would like it to eventually become my main income also here in ham lake just north of Minneapolis

I don't think you have to "like people" to be good at sales. I currently work in group sales in the luxury hotel industry as a event and conference manager and I'm very introverted. I have no issue speaking to people and being personable but I wouldn't by no means say I "like people". I'm thinking about doing a little real estate on the side and then I'll judge if it's something I would want to do full time. I just don't like the schedule inflexibility of working in hotels
