If I download jdk it reaches to sign in page what should I do

A small problem though, oracle java 16 working in windows fine without adding path variable and JAVA_HOME, at timestamp @5:04 you can see there is a path already added by the installer "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Oracle\Java\javapath". Do we still really need to add these variables?
