Lesson = showing off vehicle attitude systems and not genuine car control

neat.

Good to see Jack Olsen made the cut. Worthy ambassador of the marque.

Please change the name from "Driving lessons with the 911 R" to "shameless attempt at advertising the 'new features' of the 911R". I should think the new title will be more accurate.

No mention of opposite lock to correct oversteer? Ok, whatever.

I think I failed this lesson since all I learned is to lift off the throttle if there is understeer and the definition of both. He never explained how to correct oversteer or how to feel when either of them is going to come on. I also would have liked to hear how the engine in the back affects over/understeer with a 911 vs front or mid engine. I guess just hit the "PSM" button and it fixes everything?

Folks save your money and by a real Porsche-  not this pile of overpriced technology ridden crap. Get a nice sweet air-cooled one with the G50 transmission.

What a waste of a 911R! You could have done all of this in a Cayenne.

Kind of boring to just be over the walkie talkie telling them what to do

So why do you need a driver if a computer is driving it? So much feedback? Are you serious? The thing is packed with assisted driving functions. Drive a Lotus Exige and then repeat that 'feeling' remark. I love Tesla but this is not a Tesla, stop taking real driving out of the driver's hands. Shame on you Porsche!

The 911 R is a great idea. What isn't is it's asking price. Costing more than the 911 RS and making buyers pay almost $8000 CDN for paint colour options $0 for the GT3 RS which is almost $15, 000 (CDN) LESS. :P Plus PDK should have been an option. "Purist" :) Marking vocab.

Next lesson off camera - Jack drifting the 911R with everything off. (Pretty sure Jack's Porsche has no help button! Ha, ha!). Seriously though, doesn't everyone drive in track mode all the time?

Lesson 2 - "This is what it would be like if you actually drove the car .... now lets turn the PSM back on and go to the next 'lesson.' "
