What Are The Best 3D Printing Materials? | Additive Manufacturing
Показать описание
How familiar are you with all the different material options on the HP and Markforged printers? How does it fit for your product application?
NEW ESTANE TPU
ESTANE® 3D TPU M95A has been specially formulated to provide a more efficient printing experience when compared with elastomers in other powder bed fusion printing technologies. ESTANE® 3D TPU M95A prints quickly is easy to de-powder / unpack at lower temperatures, and the leftover material is reusable.
ESTANE® 3D TPU M95A allows parts to be produced for a variety of applications that require elasticity, increased elongation at break, abrasion resistance, and compression. Since ESTANE® 3D TPU M95A is engineered specifically for additive manufacturing and HP’s Jet Fusion 4200 series 3D printing solution, there is a broad potential range of serial production possibilities from footwear to automotive and consumer-focused parts.
HP PA12 and FULL COLOR
Robust thermoplastic produces high-density parts with balanced property profiles and strong structures. Provides excellent chemical resistance to oils, greases, aliphatic hydrocarbons, and alkalies. Biocompatibility certifications–meets USP Class I-VI and US FDA guidance for intact skin surface devices. Achieve the lowest cost per part and reduce your total cost of ownership.
HP PA12 GB
40% glass bead-filled thermoplastic material with optimal mechanical properties and high reusability. Provides dimensional stability along with repeatability. It is ideal for applications requiring high stiffness like enclosures and housings, fixtures, and tooling. Designed for the production of functional parts across a variety of industries.
ONYX
Onyx is a chopped carbon fiber-reinforced nylon. It’s 1.4 times stronger and stiffer than ABS and can be reinforced with any continuous fiber. Onyx sets the bar for surface finish, chemical resistivity, and heat tolerance.
ONYX FG
Onyx FR is a Blue Card-certified UL94 V-0 material that possesses similar mechanical properties to Onyx. It’s best for applications in which flame retardancy, lightweight, and strength are required.
HSHT Fiberglass
High Strength High Temperature (HSHT) Fiberglass exhibits aluminum strength and high heat tolerance. Five times as strong and seven times as stiff as Onyx, it’s best used for parts loaded in high operating temperatures.
Nylon White
Nylon White parts are smooth, non-abrasive, and easily painted. They can be reinforced with any continuous fiber and work best for non-marring work holding, repeated handling, and cosmetic parts.
CARBON FIBER
The strongest and stiffest fiber option on the market. 25x stronger than ABS and a higher strength-to-weight ratio compared to Aluminum makes this the ideal candidate to print parts that replace the need for metal.
KEVLAR
8x more impact resistant than ABS while still retaining incredible tensile strength. Kevlar allows users to develop unique parts with varying properties all within the same part.
HSHT FIBERGLASS
The most well rounded fiber that encompasses great flexural strength, tensile strength, impact resistance, and heat deflection temp all in one. This fiber is designed to handle the most extreme conditions where all other materials fail.
FIBERGLASS
The best choice for a cost effective part that is still 11x stronger than ABS. This is the go to fiber for many first time users of Markforged parts.
