Let's all take a moment to realize the pain that the Ukrainians are going through. Yes they are defeating the Russians every step of the way, but at great cost of life. Even with all of the support they are receiving, many are still giving their lives for the freedom of their nation. After this war is over, we should be praising them and giving them all of the help they need to recover from this disaster. They should be allowed to join the EU and NATO. God knows they deserve it.

Russia is losing, and there seems to be no way out for Putin and even less for the Russian Army. It will be an interesting case study in military collapse in the future. It's unclear how Russia will maintain even regional power status after this disaster. All because apparatchiks told sycophants what they believe Putin wanted to hear - a nation so absurdly at oddds with itself can never stand long.

Russia is actually in the process right now of attempting a breakthrough in the Bakhmut area. It will probably fail like the others, but it seems a bit premature to say that they are incapable of even attempting a breakthrough.
