Update: LeoLabs use active radar to track 2cm and student projects like Move-3 from TUM will be used to detect and classify millimeters and sub-mm debris using impacts and plasma discharge. I am fortunate to have had the chance to work on the Move 3 mission for the payload development. Looking forward to the launch in 2022.
