KICKTURN ON A SNOWBOARD | HOW TO XV

Kick turns are probably the trickiest part of splitboarding, especially when you need to do it over exposure.
I cover kick-turns in How To Splitboard but in this week's episode I go into more detail, as getting your kick-turns dialled will save you a lot of energy and it means you will be much safer in exposed terrain.

Let me know if you have any questions in the comments below.

Awesome, these are some great pointers! Little things that make a big difference. Nothing worse than when you start sliding on a steep switchback with sugar snow under you. I think one mistake I've made is getting too spread out, 3:27 really hit home haha

Perfect, good advice as per usual to practice. Doing these turns wrong on hard pack and steep icy terrain really sap the energy. Looking forward to testing out these pointers, cheers!

It's easier in snowboarding than skiing, given the length of the skis ;) And congrats to your bro!!!
