What's crazy is a lot of venues here in TX DO NOT ALLOW GAFF AT ALL!!! :( No matter how much we tell them this is the best GAFF tape out there, they say no. We use Pro Gaff too, but it also depends on how the floor is cured and what not.

Last resort use rubber protector cord runners 6.5 ft lenghts tuck cords under them i have them for my photo booth saves on gaff tape

I dj but also work construction during the day. And we run thru alot of different type of tapes. Finding that all tape manufacturers are changing the materials in their tapes across the board try to save money right after covid hit. Test it for sure

During COVID I had an outdoor wedding and had a grandma actually trip on an XLR cable. she didn't die but holy hell I will never forget that.

WD 40 will remove the adhesive from most surfaces including residue left on your cables. But then wash off the WD40 after.

Exact same thing happened to me with this tape. The tape was good for the first few gigs and then one gig this happened. Lockport tape is inconsistent, and should be avoided.
