Hyundai Ioniq - exclusive first look | What Car?

Doug Revolta takes us for a quick tour around the pre-production Hyundai Ioniq lineup.

The Ioniq range offers three different electric powertrains in one body shape, and Hyundai hopes the hybrid, electric and plug-in hybrid options will break into new markets.

With prices expected to undercut its key rivals, it should certainly get your attention.

The question is: does it really have what it takes to dethrone the Toyota Prius and Nissan Leaf?

It's actually stylish and the interior is very tasteful and high quality, and add the fact it has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, and you have a car that is a no brainier choice. The safety features are what I'm most fond about. I think it will also share the same driver assist features found in the new Elantra. Auto Emergency Breaking, Blind Spot Monitoring etc.

this is the future more electric cars from prius leaf and iqonic soon i love the idea.

back is not that great. you also barely showed it. i had to google pictures to see it but still better than the prius.
Steering wheel and Seats look like they were taken from a Mercedes C class.
other than that it's good i'm sure they'll sell alot.
