In my opinion, dark for the shiplap and the same dark color for the baseboards. It's looking good!

Love the wood bed frame. There is nothing like molding in a room to add richness and interest. The room has transformed to a classic look.

I would go with white for the shiplap. White is timeless and I think the dark color would make the room dark and gloomy. Also the bed is so pretty that it won't stand out against a dark wall. I would keep things light and airy since you live in Florida.

Muted navy on the shiplap in the same finish as the gray and then up the sheen one step in the same color for the baseboards! I would also use the higher sheen navy for the dresser! I’m sure Forrest will love anything you choose for his room!

I would paint the shiplap a darker color. It will ground the room. If you have to leave the baseboard white, to keep Chad happy. I would paint the trim on top of the shiplap white too.

I think dark shiplap and also paint the baseboard dark too. I think it will look so great and relaxing in there with the moody vibes. Can’t wait to see the finished product!
