The UK and EU have agreed what Boris Johnson says is a "great new deal" for Brexit. But what's in the deal and will Parliament pass it?

The prime minister now faces a battle to get the deal through Parliament on Saturday, with the DUP opposing it.

Reporter James Clayton looks at some of the key parts of the prime minister's deal.

Newsnight is the BBC's flagship news and current affairs TV programme - with analysis, debate, exclusives, and robust interviews.

I live in Bedford. The majority voted to leave. But our Labour MP Mohammed Yasin is detetmined to remain and defy his constituents. People are sick of this and want a resolution NOW.

For those who want a deal, this is the deal, it is either deal or no deal (no extension according to Barnier and Juncker) A deal is good for business. Labour should back the deal instead of playing politics with Great Britain’s economy.

NI voted to remain. You would think that the Irish would bite Boris's arm off. Sinn Féin could come and vote (I know they won't).. I think a general election is needed

That's the outcome, when DEALING replaces Politics.

Its like a divorce commonly. The lawyers win and both parties wish they had never married.

I do wonder what will happen with the Common Travel Area agreement between Ireland and the UK. What mechanism will prevent lets say an EU national coming to Northern Ireland which is the UK from let's say Dublin if there is no hard border?

May's deal 4.
She must be laughing. Those who kicked her out are worse having to salvage her deal and reintroduce it again in a desperate move to Brexit on time and to avoid an extension.

Is this the best the Government could come up with??

Those MPs should ask them seld this question. All that time wasting just to go for May's deal 4 _ few bits which is making it even less wanted.

If the Brexit democratic process came all way to this point after all the hard workd of MPs trying to make Brexit as soft as possible just to find them self facing the old May's deal again.

Those opposition MPs should finish the job to get soft Brexit or no Brexit. Because millions of people voted leave but not wanting hard Brexit no customs union. Single market..lose of free movement.

I've learnt that being angry at the BBC's bias is now a dog whistle for being a brexit supporter.

Why would you call it plagerism? You're accusing Johnson of committing a fraud. It's May's deal with some amendments. That is all.

I don’t believe a word the BBC says, they lie and they are biased. I would rather believe North Korean news casts.
