I met Barry Williams about thirty years ago when he came to the college I was attending. I think he was promoting his new book, “Growing Up Brady”. He’s a kind man, and easy to talk to.

Props to the parents for taking note in the sudden productivity of their kids and not thinking everything is fine. Trust me when i say no child will suddenly do every chore possible in the house unless they want something or something's gone wrong.

Idk if me and my friends would have understood that letter at Marcia and Jan’s ages. A little older we’d definitely know. (We’re much younger than the Brady’s. We’re millennials but we loved the reruns)

Dear Libby,

Your canned good foods are not as good as Del Monte.

Funny, how most of their problems are a result of assumptions, miscommunication, doubts, and suspicions.

Oh boy, those were the days. Back when the moral of the story didn't involve some sort of demented debauchery in the name of inclusion.

You baby boomers feel old like me, all those children are now seniors, and /or grandparents .

I'm going to speculate that one of the parents, did that to get the kids to do chores around the house. it's like an episode of a later show on Nickelodeon from Mexico, it's about a guy who finds out that the woman he married, built a robot that happened to be a teenage girl. the robot was supposed to be some sort of warrior android, yet it rejected the combat programing and hid in the basement of the house in the area. at first the robot, doesn't know what to think of her creator's husband, especially after she finds out the couple has a baby. what happens later, the people in the area, get a little suspicious when the robot leaves a hand wash locker room. for a while the robot wanders the city, before coming to America, by way of Texas. the story is changed, for American audiences, because people complained about the believability of a female robot from Mexico making it to America in one piece. sadly, I have to put up with people, who complain about stuff like that, every day.

It just occurred to me Jan was kind of a tomboy in the early seasons.

The first season of this show was so lame, usually with boys against girls plots.. Thankfully it improved later.

This show should have continued with the kids going to college. Robert Reed unfortunately became a drunken prima donna who couldnt stay away from sleezy gay bars.
