Sometimes, that works out well for the dealer—and sometimes, well, the GM is left with their face in their hands—pining over a grave error.

Let’s take a look back at some of these deals-gone-wrong, as we dive into the 10 NFL players that these teams wish they NEVER traded.

Bills had to trade him since he was getting in trouble. Sent him closer to his mother and family. He actually thanked Buffalo for it.

Deandre Hopkins should’ve been on the list

Texans trading D- hop for a running back should be pretty high on this list, don't forget Raiders also gave Dallas a good WR for not much in return either 🤦‍♂️

To be fair minkah didn’t want to be in Miami especially during the early part of 2019, either way it goes if they didn’t trade him, he was more likely gonna hold out or completely give up on plays. He wasn’t gonna be the same player that he was with Pittsburgh. At least they made up for minkah with Jevon Holland who looks like a stud.

As a Bears fan one of the dumbest things we did was get rid of Greg Olsen. Loved that guy

It's not like Brett Favre would have ever developed the way he did in Atlanta. It's obvious in hindsight how much he needed Mike Holmgren.

You can't say the Lynch trade is one Buffalo full on regrets. He was dealing with charges from a hit and run, he was running at a career low pace and the Bills had not one but two HBs on the roster capable of replacing him. It was time to get out for them

My Bucs traded Steve Young to the 49ers many many years ago and yeah that was a blunder. Plus we gave up on some other Superbowl winning QBs as well (Williams to Washington, Dilfer to Baltimore). At least we're thankful that the Patriots thought Brady was washed up 😏

I've almost never got it when teams trade a proven player for a draft pick that if you are lucky becomes as good as who you traded. I know sometimes it works great (Diggs to the Bills- Vikings get Jefferson) but more often unless it is a package of high picks, I'll pass.

The Bills fumble the bag many times . Don't when they traded the 9th pick for Rob Johnson. That pick turn into Fred Taylor. You should do a video about draft picks if the original team would have keep them

Hello, DeAndre Hopkins to the Arizona Cardinals from the Houston Texans for David Johnson, a 3rd round and 4th round pick? 😂😂🤣🤣 THANKS HOUSTON!

I'm shocked you didn't mention Corey Dillon of the Cincinnati Bengals when he went over to the New England Patriots and won a Super bowl

Buffalo had to trade Marshawn Lynch. Dude got arrested 3 or 4 times. A gun charge, a drug charge, a hit and run... wasn't a mistake trading him. He had to go.

Greg Olsen for a 3rd rounder has to rank high on the list, too!

Or when the Falcons traded Deon to the Cowboys, arguably the most versatile player to ever lace up.

Both the Patriots Chandler Jones trade and Texans Hopkins trades should have been on the list
