I'm visiting the wonderful, War Years Remembered exhibition/museum, based at Ballyclare.
This section of the exhibition is dedicated to the War on the Home Front. While the fighting men were away how did the flok at home cope? What was life like for them?
This is the way a 1940s living room would have looked like.

It's nice you found a place to visit. I wish I had a museum of sorts such as that near my home in the Upper South of US. I am fascinated with the home-front aspects of WW2. If I get to New Orleans, there is a museum for WW2 there, but I only heard my sister mention the war and battle stuff, not the day to day coping on rations of food, clothing, making things for soldiers, supporting your friends, etc. Thanks for the little video of your outing.
