EastEnders spoilers: Violence explodes as Aidan attacks Mick but will someone die?

This is the horrifying moment which sees vicious villain Aidan Maguire launch a violent attack on Mick Carter tonight as their final showdown explodes in EastEnders. But as Mick faces death, will Aidan’s actions backfire on him and finally see him get his long awaited comeuppance. Fans will be on tenterhooks as Mick nervously lies in wait for Aidan, who rocks up at the Vic for his money flanked by an army of tough looking goons. As Mick refuses to back down, Aidan threatens to torch the pub if he doesn’t get what he feels he is owed.

Mick tries to sort things out and it’s clear that he isn’t about to back down – and this wins him a bit of begrudging respect from his nemesis. But Aidan has a reputation to uphold and, with Phil Mitchell’s reminder that he isn’t getting any younger likely ringing in his ears, he is determined that Mick will get what is coming to him. Grabbing a weapon, Aidan ferociously attacks Mick, leaving him beaten and bruised. But as hope looks lost for Mick, will he fight back and give Aidan a taste of his own medicine?
