Creating a Trauma-Informed Environment for Children Webinar hosted by OVS on May 7, 2020 at 10:00am.

The current pandemic has disrupted the lives and routines of children in multiple ways, putting them at risk for negative mental health consequences. What is more, the additional stress on the adults in children’s lives means that the support they need may not be fully available. This training will focus on principles for creating trauma-informed environments for children that take into account their mental health needs during this difficult time, and promoting conditions for effective coping and recovery.
