For the love of cat: Imam and cat video goes viral on social media

A stray cat yearning for some petting jumped onto an Imam’s shoulder during a long Ramadan prayer called Tarawih in Abu Bakr Al-Siddiq Mosque in Algeria. The Imam helped the cat climb on but continued to pray with a perfectly clear voice. Cats are considered "clean animals" in Islamic belief.

Once Imam Abu Hanifa was studying. A cat came by and slept on his cloth that was spread in floor. Later when there was call for prayer he was about to stand up and go to mosque but suddenly noticed that sleeping cat. So he cut that part of cloth and left it behind so that the cat can sleep uninterrupted. Because our prophet Muhammad (pbuh) once did the same with his pet cat. He loved cat. And he ordered us to be kind to the animals.

Everyone paid attention with the cat, but few listened to the verses that the imam read and understood their meaning... A few verses that are valid for every time and place are addressed to the world and the ignorant to the believer in God and the unbeliever, as if God wanted through this cat and this sweet voice of this imam to alert people again to the need to reflect and understand the significance of these The short life... And listen to the last verse he recited (If he wished, he would have guided you all)... A verse that shows the kind of test we are in. One verse shows you, O human being, that you are still and will continue to be in conflict with yourself.
Should you repent or postpone while you know that the second may mean perishment. One verse is sufficient for all human beings, in which the Creator describes His greatness.

Those who took partners (in worship) with Allah will say: "If Allah had willed, we would not have taken partners (in worship) with Him, nor would our fathers, and we would not have forbidden anything (against His Will)." Likewise belied those who were before them, (they argued falsely with Allah's Messengers), till they tasted of Our Wrath. Say: "Have you any knowledge (proof) that you can produce before us? Verily, you follow nothing but guess and you do nothing but lie."
