Alpha Decay Equations - GCSE Physics
Показать описание
🦊 In this GCSE Physics video, we explain alpha decay, where a large unstable nucleus loses two protons and two neutrons, emitting an alpha particle. This process decreases the mass number by four and the atomic number by two, transforming the original element into a new one. The video also provides an example of polonium-210 decaying into lead-206, with the new atomic number and mass number used to identify the resulting element.
