Too many foreign bodies in the epitendinous repair. I think the Kessler’s or modified Kessler’s for me, is still the gold standard. Thanks for the excellent demonstration.

Thanks for the video. im trying to gather just enough knowledge where i can make sure my surgeon knows what they are doing before opening up my hand up.

Unfortunately i have reason to believe that the personnel involved do not have my best interest at heart. Do you know if I can still gain full use of a severed flexor tendon in my right thumb if they delay my treatment for around 2 weeks?

Are there any major red flags i should confront surgeons about if they say or do certain things that you may know of? for example if a new green surgeon tells me i need a tendon graft after spending half a second holding my hand after waiting a week on a cleanly cut tendon should i maybe be questioning their methods?

Currently iv had no treatment and no booking for 3 days after my ER trip and im being told that this may be a week or two to get surgery. Everyone needs their thumb and im not special, but any knowledge you are able to impart upon me would be appreciated

Hello, I had a flexor tendon repair on my middle and ring fingers 11 years ago. However, I still haven’t regained full functionality in my hand. Flexion in both my ring and middle fingers is limited to the MCP joint, with minimal movement in the PIP and DIP joints. Do you think this could be addressed by a physiotherapist, or should I see a doctor first? If the latter, would this fall under orthopedic surgery or plastic surgery? I understand it might not be ideal to seek medical advice online, but I’d just like to know if there’s any hope of regaining function, as I feel I’ve somewhat neglected the issue for the past 11 years.

Hello, I would be very happy if you could help me. I had stitches on my arm 13 years ago. My wrist tendon was stitched. Do you think the stitches on my wrist tendon are the type of stitches that dissolve? The other day I felt a pain in my arm and something appeared inside. I did some research. And there were 2 pieces of sewing thread left that had not melted. I removed one of them myself because it was just under the skin, but I couldn't even touch a piece of it and couldn't remove it any further. If I go to the surgeon now, can they remove this? So this rope is not connected to the tendon or anything, right? Do you think it will be a problem? The aid I used was a blue colored rope. Thanks for
