Babies In Brazil Suffer As Zika Virus Spreads

More than 3,500 babies have been born with unusually small heads and brain damage in Brazil. The primary suspect is the mosquito-borne Zika virus, which is spreading across Latin America.

Oh these poor mothers. I cannot imagine having to deal with the sad prospects of a Microcephalic baby, worrying about the poor little one's future, if he/she is in pain and suffering. Almost all Microcephalic babies cry almost every waking minute, which is usually 22+ hours / day ( they rarely sleep for first 6 months to a year and sometimes longer ). I've read that their cry is particularly painful to listen to, as though they are in agonizing pain. What hope is their for them?? So sad...poor mothers and poor little one's.

Well unless he's going to drain every body of water, there's no way to keep mosquitoes from laying eggs. Mosquito nets and repellant would be a more viable option until a treatment comes about.
