Last week I shared a video on how to reduce your risk of an unplanned cesarean section. However sometimes things are out of our control and a cesarean section is the safest way (physically or mentally) to delivery a baby. A c-section is a major surgery and not "an easy way". I want to recognize how brave moms who choose a cesarean section are to bring their baby safely into the world!

I hear hundreds of positive birth stories now and I love hearing how preparing your mind and body makes such a huge difference in your birth. Of course, I'm so excited for you and I really believe you can have your positive birth and beautiful baby!

People always says that C-section is the “easy way” but I honestly think it’s much harder on the body and probably mentally as well!

I am currently recovering from an emergency c section. It was a traumatic experience. Seeing this makes me cry, but my baby was born healthy and I am so grateful for that.

I had my daughter via C-section. She was breach. I’m just so glad we live in a time where it is so much safer to have a c-section. Both baby and I we’re healthy because of the surgery

C-section is no joke, I had my c-section 3 weeks ago, and until now my incision is still painful, first standing is soo painful you can’t imagine how painful it was .most of my friends prefer vaginal birth even though Labor is also intense, but they are all scared of the c section incision. Both birth are intense and scary, but just think of your newborn baby. All of those pain is worth it ❤
It’s hard to imagine the word ‘ worth it ‘ if you haven’t experienced to be pregnant and give birth.. all mama can understand what I mean ❤

Breathing a sigh of relief that I won’t have to go through this. My baby was originally head down. Then about 2 weeks ago, I got sick and was hospitalized. On the day I was being released the tech doing my ultrasound gasped and said “oh no, he flipped!” My doctor told me that if by the next ultrasound he wasn’t back head down, I was going to have to schedule a c-section.

I took a childbirth class and knew about what to do when baby is breech, so I went about doing breech baby exercises. It sucks, but it worked. I was told on my last ultrasound that baby is back in head down position. So happy I don’t have to do the exercises anymore, but more importantly, I just avoided a c-section. To those women who have to do a c-section, good luck! You’re super strong. God bless you all.

I had a emergency c section in 1984 because I had a placental abruption a 70% tear I was 6 days overdue, I lost 6 units of blood(witch my hospital did not have) I have RH neg 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻but let me say after both being in icu for 3 days, she was and is still 1000% prefect! She had absolutely nothing happen to her, considering all this started at 10pm we were an hour away from the hospital and it was freezing and sleeting

When I say we were blessed by the hands of our lord🙏🏻that’s a understatement, she was 9 lbs 1oz 21 1/2 inches of absolute perfection 🥰🙏🏻🙏🏻 so yes woman are amazing especially with the hand of GOD on them!

I had another c section 5 years later without any problems 🙏🏻🙏🏻love to All mothers!
