Then&now: Former Dutch colonial city hall of Batavia

Almost four centuries ago, the first city hall of Batavia was constructed. Less than a century later it was completely renovated to the shape it's currently still in, outside some minor cosmetic changes. You can visit this building, located in Jakarta's old city, as it's a It's closed on Mondays though, as most museums in Indonesia are.
