Detailed instructions for tying a Pheasant Tail Euro Nymph.
Recipe:
Hook: Trout Legend J, size 14.
Head: Slotted tungsten bead, 3mm, black.
Thread: 8/0 or 70 Denier, fluorescent orange.
Tail: Medium Pardo Coq de Leon fibers.
Rib: Ultra Wire, small, copper.
Body: Pheasant tail fibers, dyed dark-brown.
Thorax/legs: Dubbing blend—2 parts gray-squirrel fur to 1 part rabbit dubbing.

I see you have in you possession a vintage Mouli food processor / coffee grinder. My dad designed those, seriously. He was also the sole repair guy if anything ever went wrong with them. I'll bet it says Varco Inc on the bottom, short for our family name Varkala. They were manufactured in France through a company called Moulinex but were distributed in the US by my grandfather's company Mouli MFG in Belleville NJ in the 1970s and 80s. Love to see it still in use. Thanks for the instruction as always.
