💧 MY MODULAR IRRIGATION SYSTEM 💦 THIS THING IS GREAT! 💥 GARDEN IRRIGATION MADE EASY

Here's my Modular Irrigation System. It's all DIY and so simple anyone can do it. Everything is designed to last for years if not decades. This has revolutionized my garden. As I'm writing this, it's the middle of summer and my fall corn and peas are absolutely things of beauty. My sweet corn grew 3 to 4 feet in TEN DAYS! That's amazing. I think it's because I'm finally giving them enough water. Corn is a heavy "feeder" and needs a lot of fertilization. They are also a heavy "drinker" and need a lot of water.

I hope you'll try this modular irrigation for yourself. It will keep your garden (or flower beds, or berry patch) well-watered, and I estimate it will use 70 to 80% less water than overhead watering. I'll also show you how easy it will be to store away in the winter.

I think it's the best idea I've come up with since the Cattle Panel Greenhouse. Check it out.

I read a book about an old rancher down in south Texas near Laredo. The man was born in 1890, ranched and lived in south Texas until he died in the 1990s. His nephew who wrote a book about his life of over 100 years asked him what he had seen in his life time that really changed the world. He said PVC pipe! Keep on a digging!

I forgot to add that I built your greenhouse last summer and it overwintered all of my citrus and mango trees perfectly. I added a heat lamp on really cold nights.

Your crops are the proof!!! That is great. Thanks. We use a gravity fed system from IBC totes and drip tape or emitters. I think the PVC with holes would have worked well in several areas. Thanks for sharing!!! I just might have to plant some corn now and maybe pinto beans??? Considering that??? We are 50 or so miles north of you. Zone 8A. I may be late and that is ok. There is always next year!! Thanks for another great video.

Try adding quick connects on the ends.

Thank you for sharing this! I look forward to seeing how your gardens continue to progress as you continue to use this system. Would love to see your fertilizer injection system. Love to see a fellow Texan that is using the gifts God has given us to feed his family and take care of the land. Awesome job!

If you rotate the pipe while cutting you will get a much more square and clean cut.

Great idea just what I was looking for because drip tape is so expensive and we have a small garden. Thanks

This should work in a gravity fed system as well as using a faucet. I'm thinking fill a bucket set up on a platform for the water source.

Is it possible to glue the pipe fittings and increase pressure to be able to open all 4 valves on the manifold?

Have you ever used or considered using black irrigation pipe? Tim @ Cliffside Acres
