Switch to Tv and go into the system setting to HDMI and turn enable HDCP off I did this and my PS5 came right back on just a video switch I did while trying to watch YouTube and ended up with the black screen because I enabled HDCP without knowing what it actually was, I hope this helped

So question? Is it possible for the hdmi port to be messed up even if it doesn’t show physical signs of being damaged? My ps5 has been sitting in the same spot for the past 6 months and the last time I played it I didn’t have any issues. But this past weekend I was gonna finally do my software update because right when I stopped playing it months ago it was due for an update, just never got around to doing it. Could the need for an update cause this issue? Fully disassembled the console with the plan of switching the hdmi ports but like I said it looks like it’s in perfect condition. What should I do? I’m still able to play my VR games but can’t see any display on the tv. I’ve tried different cords and different TVs and my Xbox isn’t having this problem, only the PlayStation
