These parts are relatively simple, but the approach assures the parts are identical. Its worth a look. Enjoy!

I can’t think of one of you videos that I have seen that I did not pick a new tip or trick from! Thank for the videos!!

Interesting to see a pro machine a model. I like that you aim for exactitude. Most of us amateurs are self taught and lack some of the kit, but good to see your methods and apply what we can with tools at our disposal.

Joe, it is a joy to see you work like this. Thanks for sharing with us

Awesome work! Again, you simplify and do what is needed to make a good part. I admire your restraint against doing more work than is necessary: Doing more than what is needed can be counter-productive... every machining operation risks spoiling the part.

Thanks again Joe for taking the time to share your manual milling tips with the rest of the world - some of them, like conventional milling around the perimeter to reduce burrs, are simple and I probably would have worked it out eventually but you're speeding up my learning process a lot. Some of the rotary table stuff you have shown in the past I doubt I would have worked out :)

As said before - I am not a machinist in any sense of the term - - but I do enjoy this channel and especially this series of posts on this assembly. From day one till now has been a very informative event to me on the "Practice of Patience and Exactness." Besides, I get to witness the build of a small Steam Engine. IT be a "Two Fer!" Thanks for the ride along. . .

As I watched the tool movements I kept reminding myself - that is not driven by servos. Nicely done. I like the thought process and techniques used through all of the operations.

Joe, i am a hobby machinist (although I play a real one at work). I want to say, I have been watching your channel for some time time now, and I get something out of every video you produce. Thank you for producing this kind of content. Your videos are always clear & close-up, so we can see the details. However, your audio is sometimes lacking both in volume and clarity. I'm sure you noticed this in editing. Your channel would benefit greatly from the use of a wireless microphone. Just something i thought your viewers would appreciate. Keep up the good work Joe!

Thanks Joe! Another great video. Congratulations on breaking 99K on the subscribers. I didn’t realize the belt sander would play such an important role in building this kit. Any guidance as to what one should look for in a good belt sander?

Near the beginning of this video I mentally commented that I'd leave those parts joined until everything else was completed. I love it when my thinking jives with the Mighty Joe Pi!

Exactly how I would have done it. At least I haven't forgotten everything in the 25 years of no machining. Thanks Joe. Can't wait for the next part.

Cheap and dirty sure works for me my friend. As I worked with castings that weighed tons instead of ounces I can always relate to the setups and executions you show here are Identical to what I delt with. Right down to casting flaws, flash etc. Nice neat job once more Joe Pie. Thanks bud.
