On this channel we like to do a lot of dogfighting most videos are some sort of dogfight between 2 different aircraft as we explore their different capabilities. From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

If you enjoy war thunder or Microsoft flight simulator 2020 or even dogfighting in Battlefield 2042, consider getting yourself into Digital Combat Simulator by Eagle Dynamics, the Combat side of Aviation with the BVR and Dogfights really provides a different and interesting perspective on aviation. You can fly all kinds of combat aircraft including the F-16, F-15, F-14, JF-17, Su-27, Mig-29, Mirage and the F-18 Hornet along with many other aircraft and helicopters like the Ka-50 and Mi-8.

just imagine driving to work and you here these jets above and then out of no where you almost get disintegrated by stray bullets, omg the anxiety I would experience lol

"I'm gonna take a shot at him and I'm gonna try to not spray this road with all this civilian vehicles on it"
*Proceed to unload half Vulcan's belt on the road*
Seems more like the Geneva Suggestion than the Convention.

LOL at the sound effect of the mig 29 pulling a cobra 5 feet off the ground and realizing that he was screwed.

That “CYKA BLYAT” at 4:35 was very unexpected 😂😂😂

I love how you describe your actions as you fly and give us quick definitions of dogfight terminology, you've really helped me understand more of what goes into these dogfights and has made me a better DCS pilot. Thank you for your daily videos, they're always a highlight to my day!

Round 1 was very satisfying with all the close calls, from that one car that almost got shredded to the near-miss of a collision, and Shotgun still toughed it out to the end.. Round 2 was just as fun to watch too and the talk abt rate fighting was refreshing to hear

The visibility of the F-16 and the F-22 is incredible, but I know that if I was ever in one in real life, my OCD would have me desperately crawling all over the cockpit scrubbing at every single smudge on the glass, and I'd blow right past the merge.

You should do the US vs Russia thing again but with the rule that you can't choose the same jet twice so it's more interesting.
Do like 5 or 6 rounds so you can have different engagements.
Also make it bandit unknown so you have to choose your jet carefully.

Could you at some point do a dogfight with missiles allowed between these two? It'd be awesome to see how the missiles affect the fight, as you mentioned with when NATO pilots practiced against it.

2:22 funny you mentioned the MiG-29 becomes almost similar to an F-18. A former MiG-29 pilot for the Royal Malaysian Air Force stated that during his time flying the Fulcrum, during exercises both locally and with foreign forces, only the RMAF's own Hornet (which were purchased at around the same time as the Fulcrum during the mid-90s) ever gave him and his fellow Fulcrum pilots a proper challenge. He also stated that besides its maneuverability, the Helmet Mounted Display is one of the key factors of the Fulcrum's superiority over other aircrafts.

Keep the little sound effects coming 😂💯😂💯

PS - I love watching these fights. It’s like two guys on thin ice. One mistake and you fall into the abyss

The next video: GS in the Mig-29 vs F-16, "Watch how the Mig-29 absolutely dominates the Viper." 🤣

4:22 imagine trying to convince a mechanic that an F-16 destroyed your Tire and Rim...

Your gunnery has gotten so much better than the early days of the channel. Well done!

try to imagine yourself going into a 2 circle with the enemy in real life. you are watching every move the enemy does to try and capitalize on it. if you dont you die. so its not boring to watch. sidewinder is trying to put us in the shoes of pilots that have either lost and died or won and survived. so i like your content. its not just "2 planes going into a circle"

I would love to see some 2v2 dogfights, both missile and guns only. It would be interesting to see how the dynamic changes.

Can't imagine how scary that would be in real life, knowing you're going to eventually be out-rated and have your 6 taken.
