A report reveals that British healthcare is lagging behind other wealthy nations, ranking "bottom of the pack" in several areas.

The Healthcare Foundation's analysis found UK patients get the least time with their GP and face the longest waits to see hospital specialists.

Britain also scored worst for getting same-day responses from GP practices and for specialists accessing information or test results.

The findings are based on the 2023 Commonwealth Fund survey, which included responses from over 21,000 people, including 3,361 from the UK.

Only 53% of UK respondents could often or always get a same-day answer from their GP.

Having a baby in this country is like playing Russian roulette.

Each successive year schools get better and better at teaching students to pass exams, until there is a reset and everyone starts from the begining again.

Stop the ill legals and de port, and then the citizens won't have to wait over a year to get an appointment. Stop the diversity hiring goals, and then the staff will be more competent.

Surely the staff should be the first thing to look in to.
Level of qualification & experience good communication skills.
Good ratios of doctors nurses not pen pushers.
More medical seminars, less diversity ticking.
Im sure all of the above are just the tip of the iceburg.
Many hidden moneies and corrupt sticky fingers beneath that.
Home births, may be a better option for many.

Its quite a sane statement that the NHS is not the current govt fault. The others did not do their jobs either. Its very sad that a first world grand country like the UK has a collapsed health care system.
