Yes we know QD OLED is probably the future of OLED TVs now. I had a feeling that quantum dots would be awesome with OLED technology because of how quantum dots look with Miniled TV's. Now we have a great choice of both OLED and miniled with QD But I still like WRGB OLED as well. 2023 LG is suppose to be coming out with more WRGB OLED technology. Plus there are other TV manufacturer's getting into the OLED game. I think they are from China. Moreover I think OLED technology still has plenty of room to keep growing.

I have one for about three weeks now and I love it. With each and every HDR game I keep being impressed. I also love how super clean the screen is, I've never seen this before. No DSE, no weird green tinge in white backgrounds ans so on. What I don't love is how I need to keep my TV offline because Samsung will push firmware updates on you even if you disable auto updates. I am fine with firmware 1211. I also don't have burn in fears, I've yet to see any IR actually.

On what firmware are you as after 1211 they nerf the max brightness from this tv

Actually burn-in from long term use is unverified, it hasn't been out long enough for that, however on paper it's built to not burn-in, so much so they made a PC monitor from a QD-OLED panel and backed it with a 3 year warranty covering burn-in, each pixel has the exact same amount of energy being pushed to them at all times regardless of brightness or color since the qd filter does the changing, not the OLED layer, they designed it that way on purpose, sure prolonged heat in brighter static images could in theory cause a hurdle, however Sony added a heatsink to sustain peak brightness levels to navigate this issue and Samsung has slightly heavier ABL compared to the A95K to protect it when static images are present so heat doesn't get a chance to build up, burn-in was already on the decline in wrgb OLEDs due to built in software to combat it like pixel refresh and pixel shifting, stack on a panel designed to remove the accelerated decay of overused pixels and we've pretty much seen the end of burn-in, it's no longer a real concern, surely not impossible, but about as likely as just having your panel die from any other issue if not less

I have a 55” S95B and today I received a 65” Sony A95K they’re the 2 QD OLED’s and I did a side by side comparison and I love both TVs they are almost identical in picture but I prefer the S95B because it’s brighter overall and the colors pop much better than the Sony both TVs picture quality is 2nd to none they trade punches the price is steep I got it for $3, 999 and the S95B for $2, 199 but they’ve lowered the price I think by $200 on the S95B, Samsung and Sony raised the bar on OLED’s and the LG G2 is not too far behind
