How you have not been picked up by a major sports network Alice is beyond me. You are one of the best, most well researched commentators bar none. Thanks for all your excellent work!

What IS weird this season is all 7 loses are BY 1 goal. 3-4, 1-2, 0-1, 2-1, 1-0, 1-0, 3-2. BUT our wins have been 4-0, 0-4, 0-3, 4-1, 4-1, 0-5, 3-1.

Some excellent performances from our young boys especially Bergval. He really is something else and will develop into a top world class player ..absolutely vital we hang on to him.

Superb commentary and analysis as always, Alice. Spurs are easily the most entertaining club in the league. They will win big time if they stick with Big Ange

Bergvall youth coach in Sweden who also academy director at ole club said would take him about 6 months to as adapts to pace of prem league and 6 months later we’re seeing Bergvall improve and look at home - he also coached kulusevki and Anders Limpar when youth players and said Bergvall the best of player he coached

Alice, great assessment of Southampton Vs Spurs game. One thing I never heard mention by anyone, Madders second goal... he was pulled down to the ground just before he scored that incredible goal. I wonder if he would've got a penalty, had he not scored!

As always excellent analysis. Cheers. The development and the structure for the future takes time and the Jan window was always going to be important.

was good to see Dorrington get his debut as was brilliant for our u17 cup winning team couple seasons ago and we prem2 and cup winning team last year but has injury early season(maybe end of last) so good now getting minutes - Ange was asked about cover for vdv at start of season and said he didn’t want to stop the pathway for Dorrington Phillips and the Croatian Luka Vušković who turns 18 in feb and joins us next season and currently on loan in Belgium and doing really well there

Odobert was supposed to be wing cover, but he got injured early on. CB cover was always lacking. Fair play to Gray, an 18 year old who is not a natural CB.

Staying up late for this game was the best decision I’ve made the kick off time here in Taiwan is 3 am 😮. Anyway but it’s a nice and joyful game to watch, and love to see the teenagers get some playing time !!!! I would love too see Gray playing in midfield when the injury crisis is over.

Alice, the only point I don’t agree with you on is Ange not playing younger players more, keep in mind under the previous Managers played a much older group than Ange who in his first season turned Spurs from one of the oldest squads to now one of the youngest squads, he played Udogie, Sarr, VDV & this season Dragusin, Gray, Bergvall, Spence, Moore, Lankshear have are all being integrated into the team while Oderbert has been injured, young S Korean players coming in Jan also but he naturally can’t play all these developing youngsters at the same time, you need to carefully blend the experience with the youth.
