Dr. Kousoulas is a professor of virology and biotechnology in the department of pathobiological sciences and director of the division of biotechnology and molecular medicine (BioMMED). He is the Director of the NIH-funded Center in Experimental Infectious Disease Research and the Director of the NIH-funded Louisiana Biomedical Research Network Molecular and Cell Biology Core.
