Now, Let’s start the session without further dues. I would like to Invite Dr. Pankaj Yadav. Dr Yadav has a background in biostatistics, genetics and bioinformatics. At present, he works as an assistant professor at Indian Institute of Technology, Jodhpur, India. Previously, he has worked as 1) senior data scientist at Reliance Jio Infocomm Limited, Hyderabad, India, 2) research scientist at Corteva Agriscience, Hyderabad, India 3) scientist at German Cancer Research Center (DKFZ), Heidelberg, Germany 4) scientist at University of Kiel, Germany and 5) research assistant at Helmholtz Research Center, Munich, Germany. Dr. Yadav has rich experience in statistical methods development for gene-environment interaction studies. At DKFZ, he worked on drawing statistical inferences on multiple myeloma cancer datasets obtained from various hospitals in Germany and UK. At the Helmholtz Center, he worked on developing machine learning algorithm for quantitative structure activity relationship analysis. His work has been published in peer reviewed journals. He has contributed to several international conferences, seminars and workshops. He received the INSPIRE faculty award 2018 (but declined) from Indian National Science Academy (INSA).
