懐かしい... I was living in Nagoya (student exchange program, I'm from France) for one year and I was amazed by the city. I heard from a lot of people that there's nothing there but I knew it had a lot to offer and oh boy it was awesome. So much things to do and to experience, cool night life(also had fun at iD haha) and delicious food... and what I like the most about it, is its location! You can easily travel to Gifu, Mie, Shizuoka, Kyoto/Osaka or Tokyo, and I always enjoyed walking at night around Nagoya Station or after riding the Shinkansen. Of course I couldn't see everything in one year but I definitely want to go back as soon as possible! Nagoya really felt like home to me.

The thing I like about Nagoya is that is gives the same big city feeling as Tokyo or Osaka, but without all the tourists.

Love Nagoya. Lived there for twenty years before moving onto my sailboat in Tokyo Bay. When I first moved to Nagoya in the mid 90`s, i read in a Travel Book that Nagoya was only worth 2 hours of a Japan Itinerary, hmmmm it may be boring to visit but a wonderful place to live

Omg! Believe it or not i just went on my photo album and checked on my trip in Nagoya almost a year ago. And here it is your video of Nagoya popped up right at the ferris wheel and all around where i hung out a lot during my visit there... awww this made my day already 😌😌😌 thank you 😊😊😊

Nagoya is the city i first visited in Japan and in fact it is where i met my wife. We try to go back and visit friends every year.

Last time I was in Nagoya was 17yrs ago! We visited my moms brother and his family! We didn’t see too much except for the castle there!

The area around TV Tower was under construction all of last year and most of this year. The tower didn't light up during that time. It was just last month when it reopened and became a shopping area.

The Sakae Chika area also went under renovation, and I think it was late last year when the Crystal Plaza reopened. However, the water fountain was already gone by the time I moved here two years ago.

you're already in Sakae area...Nagoya Castle is already there in Meijo Koen...in your present location now which is Zara & Gucci that's Otsu Dori...just go straight ahead for Nagoya Castle...you can go there thru subway going Shiyakusho(City Hall)...Sakae, Hisaya Odori, Shiyakusho, and get out at Meijo Koen and take Exit No.1
