Watch and Listen as Neal Bryant, SOC takes us through this brand new Steadicam System - The Steadicam Axis.

The new 3-Axis electronically assisted camera stabilizer incorporating the patented Steadicam Volt technology, augmented with a third pan motor for even more precise camera control. 3-axis assisted stabilization allows the operator to directly control the framing of the shot without feeling disconnected from the camera like in other fly by wire systems.

Shallow learning curve for achieving high quality camera movement, with faster set up times and greater range of movement over current electronic gimbal systems.

With a payload capacity of up to 20 lbs (9kg) when paired with a Steadicam A-30 Arm & Vest, the Steadicam Axis will take you to a new level of achieving cinema quality shots at an affordable price.

Steadicam Operator: Neal Bryant, SOC

I can't believe it's less than 9k! As I was watching this I asked my wife if we had 50k laying around. This is an amazing deal for the price. At first, I thought the electronic gimbal thing was 9k. You're actually getting the entire kit, vest, arm, and includes the DOCK! The dock is an extra accessory that any other company would have charged $500 for.

I already have a zephyr. I wonder if it's possible to upgrade or can I buy the sled separately ?

I would love to upgrade my Aero 30. I hope Tiffen will sell the sled only at one point.

Only one question, what plays a part in the payload capacity? Can I go with a heavier setup if I had a stronger arm? Or is it going to overload and burn the Volt? Thanks.

Mark my word: Insta360 and/or DJI are already thinking of putting up their own competing product vs this amazing steadicam

Amazing! Would it handle bigger payloads/cameras with a stronger arm? Is there an option to buy it with a stronger arm?

Could a light gimbal (RS3 Pro) be used in conjunction for the javelin mode use case?

When you say the weight capacity is 20lbs, are you just referring to the arm/vest that supports the sled? Or are you also referring to strength of the 3-axis motors within the Steadicam Axis' Volt?

Can someone realistically keep this setup for bigger cameras and just upgrade to a larger weight capacity arm/vest?

Is the A30 vest sturdier than the Steadicam Pilot Vest?
