i quit seeking for aikido classes, some twenty years ago, because the classes I found were so fake and out of armony. since I found your aikido channel I'm motivated to go back to aikido. this is the way I was originally taught

Thank you, Sensei ! In our Aikido class, the instructors leave us to figure out for ourselves how to do it after performing the techniques three or four times. But since this requires high level of concentration and keen observation to master the overwhelming amount of details, so not just any one can fare well. So I think approaching Aikido techniques from their basic principles is a great way to practice the art.

hi siauliai, youre doing really good videos. I'm just a beginner and did the first step on the journey of aikido only a few weeks ago.So I'm interessted in every information about aikido i can get.

When I watch your vid's you remember me about a young man living lonely in Brussels. He was my neighbour. Every trainingday he asked me, if I want to join, but I wasn't able what he was invinting me too. This days my biggest wish I had taken his hand.

Pls keep your channel alive. I look forward to every of your videos.

The main principle of Aikido techniques is the spiral.
"The mystery of Aiki is revealed in dual opposing spirals, one rising on the right, one sinking on the left." - Morihei Ueshiba.

Well explained, Sensei. I especially like the part on "giving space to your Uke".

This is an art. No one will attack you in that manner in real life. No disrespect.

looking back at this video show how much you've changed and now become a highly functional fighter/martial artist !!! aikido is very logical in theory but the way of training is super lacking in resistance/live opponent.

I do karate like my thing is karate but this seems interesting and thinking of starting aikido. I like the physics and the redirection of movement, i thinks that's interesting.

I actually trained in judo, now i wonder how good it will be if i apply aikido, i mean i will still throw the opponent but bringing them out of balance or stepping out of the way to get a clear position to perform a hip throw, one of the basic throw of judo and making it more effortless
