'Hey DT, Will Linux Become Centralized?' (Plus Other Questions Answered)

In this lengthy rant video, I address a few questions that I've been receiving from viewers. I discuss my thoughts on Linux and the free software movement becoming "centralized", questions I've gotten regarding my terminals and window managers, as well as explaining why I've resorted to giving out RTFM's like it's Christmas!

Distro Tube has the best audio quality on youtube. There is so little background noise in hist vids, that when they start before he speaks, I always think my computer is on mute.

Hey, DT, I know you're mainly a linux guys, but I would love to some time hear your opinion about the BSD's (mainly freebsd), since they are also FOSS software (not GPL tho), and even though i also use linux on my main desktop, for the latest and gratest fanciest software (I run arch), but having been digging through freebsd and freebsd source codes, i really love what i've seen and I think that if I'm ever setting up another server I will use freebsd (linux is still king for the desktop user-experience tho imo)

Also, I really like your video's! you are doing a good job at spreading the word about FOSS! I personally am not as much of die-harder as you are. ( I run windows in dualboot on my second drive for video-games [yes you can game on linux, but the experience is still superior on windows and i game a lot] and 2 programs i need for college), but I fully support your cause!

Hey DT, I've just found myself in the world of tiling wm's coz of videos and I love them. I've been using i3 daily for like 3-4 months, before that I've used qtile for couple of weeks, tried many of them. So you should proud, thanks to you I've been more than ever efficient while i'm working/coding !

In the long run, RTFM is the best advice you can give. You'll become a more well rounded user if you first try to answer your own questions first before you ask someone else.

Lol, I was about to ask something, but then I thought I should wait to see the whole video. I'd be satisfied if you put in the background alsamixer runing on urxvt with your configs though (istead of cmatrix I mean), plz. If not, I'll just self-RTFM. I'm a relatively new sub. Thx for your work!!
