The song that I always associated with the period following my father passing out both suddenly and slow enough to make it just painful to witness.
I just turned 17 back then and everything felt boring, plain and meaningless.
It's through a long depression that led me to chatting with randoms on steam that I stumbled on a guy with a Ryuk profile picture that shared me his +3000 songs playlist on Youtube.
I randomly clicked few tracks and found that one which both felt as repetitive and as plain as my life felt but at the same time comforting.
I used to listen to it during in subway when going at school, when studying alone in the library and when leaving again in the subway.
The repetitive track for the repetitive life I had as the medecine student I were.

To this day, 5 years later I still listen to it and still have that feeling about life, it never really left me even if I tend to pay less attention to it over time.
I can't make abstraction of how short our lifes are and can't get rid of that thought just reminding it to me instead of helping me to enjoy all the little moments I can have.

I love the track btw, thank you Kid Francescoli, the construction is very simple yet very enjoyable.
