You go into a tunnel and the dim, yellow lights above you flash by. And finally you’re out the tunnel, back to the fresh, striking air and greet the city beneath you. It’s bright and eerie and beautiful. People dealing with themselves in their own rooms and you’re up on the hills looking down at all of them...
An approaching white noise hums above and you look up to see an airplane not so far away drifting by. You close your eyes for a while and listen to the soft hum. Then you prayed for a wish...

It was my moms funeral. It was over, everyone leaving. I remember looking up at the dark clouded sky as it separated with the warm bright Sun and blue sky. It was a new beginning for me. Driving down backroads, watching all the trees drift by. I remember not feeling anything. I felt numb. My mind was fuzzy, sounds were distant. M83 was playing on the radio and it was if time was at a halt. This song played those visions so vividly like I was experiencing it all over again. But I had a sense of relief to know she was every bit of those things.

A great friend of mine is moving and changing schools. This song makes me think about all the good times we spent together. There will be more, I hope. I cherish him very much and made him promise to not forget me.

I wish I could turn back time and live those moments spent with him again. The good ones, the bad ones, the sad ones.
