Everyone’s favorite all-terrain shoe is being SUED! Crocs recently found themselves in some legal trouble due to a small problem… their shoes are shrinking!

Fun fact: for the movie Idiocracy, a movie set in the future where everyone’s an idiot, the creators picked crocs before they took off, because they thought it was the stupidest possible shoe ever and that no one would ever buy it

I've worn Crocs for over a decade and live in Florida. Never had a problem with them shrinking unless I leave them in a car during the summer. You can leave then in direct sunlight, you can wear them in hot sand and for me they tend to stretch out not shrink.

Fun fact: Crocs are the only shoe that's actually shaped to match your foot, every other shoe is shaped so that the point is at the middle, and not where the big toe is

Its feels like everyone should have known this. Everything about this material would suggest that they shrink. Also it really doesnt seem like a big issue. They are dirt cheap and it takes quite a while for a significant level of shrinkage to occur. There is a reason the last two cases got dismissed

I literally wear them every day so throwing them in the dryer actually helps make them not so lose, it just puts them back to their original form

Honestly, i like this. Crocs dont have half sizes, and im size 10.5, so i have to get 11, which is a little too big, so the shrinking makes them fit me nicely

It's wild that years ago I looked it up and learned about the fans using the dryer to get their crocs to fit perfectly, everyone's happy. Meanwhile crocs is still trying to defend against it?? I'm with y'all. Pull a Bethesda, it's a feature.

as someone who has been wearing crocs for years, they never dissapointed, and are my 2nd fav brand of shoes. my #1 favorite is Peter Legwood, they are like crocs, but extra stylish and made to benefit foot posture

IMO it shouldn’t matter to the court of law whether they shrink or not. Everything we use is a consumable in some way or another. If you use it long enough, it’s gone. Crocs can argue it’s just a short life consumable product that degrades over the course of its intended use.

This happened to me while I was at summer camp for a week, I brought them with me and before I left they fit fine with plenty of room when I got back after they had been sitting in my tent all camp they barely fit

They do, in fact, shrinking the sun, my whole family can attest to that from going to water parks and beaches with them
