Getsly: makes video titled “The forgotten droid programmers of Star Wars”
Also Geetsly: forgets to mention any droid programmers.

The music makes this video like a training video that came out of the 1980s. It is hilarious.

Programmers:
The unsung heroes of many sci-fi franchises.

I was lead to believe that the video would be about the programmers and not mostly about droids. Sadly, that was not the case.

I would think the droid class system would be divided by licensing requirements based on the level of danger it could pose to a society.

Protocol, Mechanical, Scientific, Industrial, Battle-spec.

If you're gonna do more videos like this, can you do one on blasters?

Why does Star Wars blaster, "laser" and turbo"laser" weaponry have such pitiful muzzle velocities? A quick look at any Star Wars technical manual shows that the bolts of plasma fired from these weapons are accelerated from the barrel via magnetic coils essentially making them cool guns. Coil guns like their rail gun predecessors, sport muzzle velocities that are impressive to put it mildly. Plasma is also incredibly light so a bolt of plasma would be incredibly easy to accelerate to a high velocity VERY quickly.

Ah yes, the Star Wars Mech-World, Blessed Mars, beating heart of the cult machinicus and constructors of myriad automaton battle-forms. Ave Deus Machina.

10:30 That is a different galaxy altogether, there are even battlesuit AI manufacturers over there. Although some technicians seem fascinated by toasters.

A video detailing the computer terminals, handheld data pads, and personal devices in the galaxy would be interesting

This is why I always laugh at the commercials claiming that you could become famous by learning to code..
