Finally did the run up the Rocky steps with the tune running through my head today! I was only 15 yo when I first saw this iconic movie as a kid in India. Here I am in Philly 45years later!

May 28, 2022 finally got to live out my dream and run up these steps after many trials and tribulations and finally got my license to become a nurse plenty of more to accomplish, but the feeling of having a lil financial freedom allows you to breath. I watched this movie everytime I was going through something. Rocky was never focused on the end goal it was about proving to himself that he was worthy enough to stand toe to toe with greats. He had heart man that's all its about never letting fear stop you even if you lose keep fucking going and attack until life gets tired of you.

I was born and raised in philly, literally 2 blocks from where Rocky lived at 1818 Tusculum St. This scene gives me such pride in my city, especially growing up as a kid in the 80s.

This is awesome. My flight got delayed to Italy. Instead of feeling upset, I made the best out of it and walked the same place where Rocky walked and ran up the stairs, not knowing until I saw this video. So cool!!!!

These movies were made before my time with the exception of the new Rocky Balboa. Dad loved them and it’s one of the things we bond over. Now we’ve watched all the Creeds together in theaters. Always will be one of my favorite series of movies.
