I absolutely love this product! its the best brush cleaner i have ever used. It removes all the paint and I use oil which can be a bit tricky to remove, it removes even stains. It removes all the paint but its very gentle to the hairs as well, Its amazing how it works and its easy and quick. Also if my brushes lose there shape or point, then i dampen the brush and lightly stroke the brush in the soap and it shapes the brush perfectly. I highly recommend.

Would this soap work on brushes with old acrylic pain on them that were never rinsed out with water and are now rock hard?

So leaving soap in the brush is not bad, for the purpose of remaking the point on your brush. 👍
