I’ve been cleaning my iPhones under running water in the sink since iPhone 7. Had a X after that now 12 pro. You just have to make sure it’s completely dry to charge it, and it will give you a notification if the port is still wet.

For someone like me who moved from Samsung to iphone, this is like odd, since iphone 7S its been tagged as water resistance, so wondering why are people even imagining it would have problems with water. I use iphone in the shower to listen to music as I did the same with Samsung phones, never had an problems with either of them.

You forgot the charging test! The charger was submerged so next time include if the charger port works

Helpful tip:😅

Always put 2 layer of tape
on the speaker and charging port and
put 1 layer of tape on the microphone
at the back, volume and power button
and use a little tight case so it will keep the tape shut or closed i cant explain sorry haha..

—THIS WAY YOU DONT NEED TO DRY OR WAIT BEFORE YOU CAN CHARGE YOUR
IPHONE 12 again and it also improves ip rating or lowers the chance of damaging your phone.

* Dont judge me this is based only on my experience and might also help tysm.

trust me no problem at all also if you think your phone has some water inside u can see that py removing the pin and u will see the little sticker in the pin holder(recogniser) if its white it has no leakage if its red it has leakage
