Winsor & Newton- Titanium White
Winsor & Newton- Raw Umber

Thinner/Brush Cleaner: Chelsea Classical Studio Citrus Essence
Medium: Liquin Original

Canvas: 11x14" Cotton canvas toned with oil paint

Brushes Used:
Princeton Summit 2 Round 6100R
Master's Touch size 1 round
Princeton Select 2 Fan brush

I like how you are able to see through the wrinkles in the eye areas to paint the planes and establish the values! That is simplifying things. Thank you. :) Oh, almost forgot to mention that I love those strokes in the hair!

I hope you don’t mind me saying so: the nose needs some work: the nose wing is not wide enough. And it looks like the man is sleeping not reading. Also the right cheek area needs some sculpture. Thanks for the effort teaching me something. This is very helpful.

hi Yupari great study....I am new at portraits( a few weeks of study) when I draw a sketch to paint,  the face looks distorted..i am frustrated with this...sometimes I don't notice it until im done, ,,I use a divider to keep checking my work but some how its distorted and I do notice it...especially when I step away for a few seconds....
