Today I’m talking about Coraline by Neil Gaiman and the 2009 movie adaptation by Henry Selick. The story follows Coraline, an only child, whose family has moved into an apartment in an old house. Her parents are usually busy with work, so she occupies her time by visiting her oddball neighbors and exploring her new home. One day, she finds a strange door that leads her into parallel world where things are not quite what they seem to be, and she has to find a way to get back home.

He was created so that Coraline has someone to talk too.

lol cant believe you hated Wybie
he was a cute add to the movie albeit entirely unnecessary - I mean he does like 1 thing at the very end.

I loved the movie regardless.
I dont think Wybie's existence ruins the overall story or lessens Coralines journey in any way.

I hate that the movie added the character Whybe as well. I think they did that because they weren't creative enough to deal with the lack of supporting characters

Despite all of their differences. Both the book and the movie are terrifying 😱 and the other mother is the most terrifying cartoon villains ever
