This video just tells us what happened, it doesn’t answer the one mystery in the ending, the reason we’re all watching…

I watched the short and at the end of the last episode I cried because I knew how long the ship would wait for someone to show up. She is a sentient being and all alone. I hate how this ended. No one should be left alone like that.

The whole series should have ended with Mariner from Trek Lower Decks walking out of the Holo deck saying Computer End Program. Then saying Man that was a bad piece of fan fiction.
Then Boimler would say it wasnt that bad. Then Rutherford saying come on a kelpian somehow melding with dilithium and subspace and destroying most of the federation. Not believable

Other then trying to fill a plot hole, what was the point of sending the Discovery to sit out in space for a thousand years, with the spore drive technology just sitting there? Made no sense.

i just have a problem with letting the tech go when they go to all that much trouble. Seems hollow

Moll was such an unrealistic character. It made the show look silly how she was able to get away time after time. So Captain Michael could kick Lak's ass but couldn't handle Moll until the end. Come on, man.

I love Star Trek but this was sooo bad. Discovery is the first series i won't miss.

So they decided to abandon a sentient being in space. And did I miss something didn’t she tell the progenitor that she had to think about it and never gave an answer?

If they had already made technology advancements that allow for near utopia in the 22 Century, it seems that by the 31 century, the Federation could have matched or exceeded whatever tech the progenitors had

The progenitor tech should have been a recipe for biscuits.

Okay Scott Bakula shows up at Twin Peaks' desk and says 'I need your flippy ship". Quantum Leap obviously has a tardigrade that owes Archer a favour. Zora is still Zora. End Scene - Archer is sitting with Admiral Trip on Risa. Star trek shorts you used to be great.

Seriously all that build up, thinking "Fifth Element hair" girl and "Green" Breen would get back together using the Jesus machine only for it to be stuck in the butt hole of Mr Popo. Then they just say "pan on the captain, stay on the captain for the rest of the episode" and give her a happy ending. Seriously wtf. They really did write themselves down the toilet.

Trash show. And I write this as a gay man from a ethnic minority background. I used to watch Star Trek for optimistic escapism… to escape the bullies. Now it feels like it’s written by the bullies. The producers genuinely don’t care or understand - it’s TRASH

This show should be stricken from canon. It was a hot mess from start to finish. Good riddance

This series was such an experiment with how NOT do to sci-fi that I couldn’t not watch it all lol. Every single episode was:
“We’re in trouble! We need to do ABC123 right now or we all die horribly and/or the galaxy will turn into a giant fart bubble!”
“Oh no, not a giant fart bubble! Ok well, no one has ever done ABC123 before. I don’t even know if it’s technically possible. The physics alone say it’s not. And besides, ABC123 would require at least a month of retrofits in dry dock, and materials that won’t exist for another 700 years…”
“You’ve got 90 seconds.”
“Oh so that all? Because I finished building and testing it in the time it took you to say I have 90 seconds.”
“What… how?”
“Simple Michael, half of this crew is gay. And nothing this gay can possibly fail.”

Yea, this show is crap. In an unlimited galaxy of species, they the federation chose chaos in a leadership. This show was doa in my eyes. Micheal is a man name. The writers destroyed any chance of logic.

This whole series suck honestly it contradicts itself and most of the time what they start at in the beginning of the episode fades out and doesn't even matter like the whole Juliet Romeo thing they had going on what was the point what was the point she just walks away after getting told he can't come back

I totally disagree with the audience and critics. Sonequa Martin-Greene was a great Burnham, her chemisty with David Ajala worked all along from season 3 and I am glad they got a happy conclusion unlike what cinema has it things need to be complex and intellectual or what not. They nailed the ending and made whoever like the show really appreciate it because they built an image of a family in that show that entertained us for 7 years.

Doug Jones was a great Saru it was probably a demanding job with all the prosthetics and masking and I am glad he to his apperance one episode and a happy conclusion as well. The entire cast and crew had a balance to them. The cast was really solid. Latecomer Callum Keith Rennie was a solid addition as Captain Rayner and I think he would be a great role for a spinoff. David Cronenberg is a legend of cinematography and his every appearance is meaningful to cinema. Can't wait to see Oded Fehr in the next Mummy movie.

Many are critical and say the show sucked, but not everyone has that opinion. People need to consider how much props making, acting, composing, art directing, motion graphics, 3d modeling and rendering and effort goes into these projects. To me this show was an experience that regardless of its flaws. And I would like to thank the entire cast and crew for the efforts they did for us fans even though sometimes we are not thankful for what we get.

I kinda thought it would have been revealed that the Breen were in fact direct descendants of the progenitors, not just another creation of the technology.
