This is Marvel/Star Wars/whatever but not Star Trek where the point originally was not on endless action but on “exploring new worlds”.

I really enjoy Discovery, but it has always felt like an alternate universe version of Star Trek, and not a traditional Star Trek.

Discovery fehlt das Herz von Star Trek. Und zwar gute Geschichten mit cleveren Dialogen und interessanten moralischen Fragen. Wie in diesem Clip zu sehen, geht es mittlerweile nur noch um Action, Action, Action.

for those that pull the race card when someone doesn't like her as captain, remember DS9? EVERYONE loved their commander/captain and he is African American. It was the acting /writing of discovery that is the problem.
