Been flying with Scoot alot and just recently in Feb, so far it's been pretty ok. A budget airline that gets you from point A to Point B, no frills whatsoever.

Scoot isn't Singapore Airlines, its a BUDGET AIRLINE (just lower your expectation, that's how I survive scoot)

I flew Scoot to Tokyo about 2 years ago - one way on ScootPlus (something like premium economy) and the other way on economy. The seats on both classes were okay and the cabin crews were very attentive. Enjoyed my flight with no big issue whatsoever. However, I do hope they do something about their inflight menu. They could do collab with local eateries for chicken rice, laksa, etc.

I was actually considering flying Scoot for future trips, but thanks for the insightful review which will definitely factor into my future planning!

Hey buddy, I totally agree with you on the uncomfortable seats. I flew a return from Melbourne to Singapore in 2022 and had severe back pain upon landing at Changi. On my return flight to Melbourne, the seat was broken and couldn’t recline. Was sitting upright straight 8 hours and my back pain was totally upsetting. A nightmare flying Scoot. That was the first and last time and no Scoot for me ever again.

Totally agree with the assessment of the seats. I end up with back pain on arrival. Should have brought my own back support.

I've flown numerous (>20) times with Scoot.
Furthest was SIN - Sydney.
They've not disappointed me thus far. Planes are clean and decently comfortable. Quite on-time (max 45min delay).

I agree. Scoot can be a great airline if you're flying to neighboring destinations like Manila, Phuket, and Bangkok. Plus, you only need to bring the clothes you normally wear in Singapore, so the 10kg carry-on allowance is perfect without the need for extra baggage.

Flown twice to Athens, if it lands I do not complain. Easy going person. Lucky to travel.

I've flown Scoot at least twice a year over the past few years, mainly cuz of the price, especially when they are on discount. e.g. for an upcoming trip, my one-way flight from SG to Osaka is 450SGD (including luggage addon) for Scoot, and 628SGD for SIA on the same day. So I'm asking myself if the extra comfort is worth a 40% increase in price. Plus, I could be spending that extra money on my vacation instead. But of course, the tickets are not always on discounts and the Scoot prices can be much closer to SIA, which would make choosing SIA over Scoot a no brainer.
But yes, choosing Scoot means you have to deal with the small uncomfortable seats, bring your own food, water and entertainment and some encounter some delays occasionally. Else if the extra few hundred bucks dont matter as much as your comfort, just go SIA.

Scoot is the little sister of Singapore airline. In fact, there were once when I compared prices (for flying to Surabaya), between Scoot and SQ (Singapore Airline), from Scoot after adding some upgrades to equal services with SQ, I was surprised that prices were similar between both. I got SQ flight for better seat. But I must admit, my favourite food was “nasi lemak” from Scoot.

I flew Scoot a few times with no frills on short haul and it's really no problem. So far so good. I am trying out longer flights of 4 hours. Though not a fan of inflight dining, I booked a meal reluctantly in case I do get hunger pangs during the flight. I find their meals expensive and not inviting. But let's see how it goes.

I am sorry to hear about your experience and your uncomfortable seats. Have watched the whole video. I nv tot of Scoot seats as i just want to reach the destination with low costs. If i am in your shoes, i would also think its uncomfortable. But maybe i am too anxious in flying, Scoot is always my go-to flights. It will be handy if you can provide constructive feedback to Scoot instead? I don't think Scoot is watching it here. Thank you for the video! Enjoy your hols!

I have travelled a few times using scoot. What i find is that it is better to book using their website, it is easier to add on extras. I get what i paid for. Cant complain.

Yes, I agreed with you. SQ can be very expensive at time, it really depends on the timing.

I too flew to Tokyo in December via Scoot and then again to Kinabalu in Mar.
I'm totally convinced that I will not fly Scoot again unless my life depends on it.
I just flew to Taipei again. Out bound was SQ but the return flight they offered were via Scoot only on the day I wanted to return.
After two prior bad experiences with Scoot, I told myself I'm not going to book via SQ and then have to take the lousy Scoot flight back.
Ended up, I changed my date of return and flew back on EVA air instead.

I cannot imagine paying for my ticket on SQ site and having to endure the lousy seat and service on Scoot. Pure scam.

It is a budget airline. However behind the scenes they have some of the hardest working and most brilliant staff I have ever seen. If you choose to fly with them make things easy for them follow their rules and don't seek special treatment. Just know the people at scoot are brilliant and you can trust them to work behind the scenes to get everybody to their destination safely. I truely emphasis they have amazing people at scoot.

Hi I'm also a non fan offline scoot Airline, but we didn't recently from Perth, Australia, Bangkok, Thailand and I'll have to SAY the seat was comfortable and on return. We departed at night time, which is a bit of a bummer and coming back. It wasn't too bad when we return from Bangkok to Singapore. It was delayed already an hour, which bite us in Singapore had to hurry up to buy things On the flight back to perth I notice on your video When you were sitting, you had a 600 litre bottle, sealed. So how did you get that through customs?
